Dr John Kemp was born and raised in New Liskeard, Ontario.  He graduated in 1979 from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, before moving to the Okanagan.  Dr Kemp’s interests away from the office include playing hockey, skiing, and golf.  He has been coaching youth hockey for many years and has recently participated in and is supportive of developing world eye care.
