Lens Coatings

Anti-Reflective Coating:

Also known as Anti-Glare lenses help to reduce eye fatigue and improve visual acuity in most situations, especially for those viewing computer screens and driving at night.  They are also cosmetically pleasing, as the wearer’s eyes are clearly visible behind the lenses, a great asset to those dealing with the public, on camera, or anyone who wants their eyes to be seen clearly.  Anti-reflective coating is also extremely helpful in reducing the ‘look’ of thick lenses in high-powered prescriptions.

Ultra-violet Coating:  A virtually colorless coating applied to the lenses to increase the blockage of UV rays passing through the lens.

Extra Tough Scratch Resistant Coating: A harder coating than what naturally comes on plastic lenses.
