Both of these items
are available in a variety of prescriptions. For dive masks the
prescription can be ground into glass lenses (used because of
the pressure created under water) and cemented onto the dive
mask lens. |

| On-site Edging lab: |

The prescription is ground into the
lens at an outside laboratory and edged here at Okanagan Optical,
what that means for you is that if you order a lens for your own
frames, you will not be without your glasses for longer than 45
minutes when the lenses are being edged or ‘cut’ into
your frames. |

| On site repairs and adjustments: |

When you purchase your eyewear from
Okanagan Optical adjustments are done at no charge. Our
Opticians recommend that you come in for complimentary adjustments
regularly to ensure that your eyeglasses remain comfortable and
fit properly. At that time, we will also clean your eyeglasses
and when necessary, replace your nosepads. |

| Buying eyeglasses or sunglasses
online may not be the best choice, because you’ll be unable
to try them on before buying. You may get lucky with an online
purchase, but you never know for sure until you see how a frame
